The History of Long Printing
Long Printing Company was formed in 1989 by Barry Long. The company was founded upon the principal of giving absolute quality, attention to detail and a personal touch to each of our customers. Since it's inception, the focus of the company has been to service every customer in a friendly manner and deliver a product that we are proud of. We want our clients to feel comfortable suggesting Long Printing as a print source to a friend or an associate. Our customer base ranges from the independent business person to Fortune 100 companies and our goal is to give every customer the same level of attention.
Initially our focus was on one- and two-color printed materials in small format. Over the years we have expanded our capabilities to include the production of multi-color large and small format work. This evolution has taken place in response to the needs of our customers. Our service has broadened to include product fulfillment, project management, print management, ad specialty products, and more.
Our most recent equipment acquisitions is a new MAN Roland 204E press with fully automatic capabilities. It allows us to produce short and long run 4-color spot and process more efficiently than in the past. In addition, we have installed an Agfa Paladio Computer-to-Plate system, which has given us the opportunity to speed up the prepress operations and get 1st generation images to the plates for the MAN Roland as well as our other presses.
